Storytelling for lecturers
Storytelling is the art of telling stories. It's not just about sprinkling facts in the classroom: it's about creating an emotional connection with your students. This is how they really learn. Stories can clarify complex topics and improve engagement. Facts support your story so that it really reaches your target audience.
This course provides lecturers with the skills to present their teaching and ideas more effectively through storytelling. It focuses on clear communication, improving engagement and inspiring students.
We will work on the story you want to tell. For example, about who you are, your vision, your organisation’s strengths or the lessons you have learned. You will create a storyline in steps and optimise how you tell your story. While doing so, you will receive lots of personal tips on how to convey your story authentically, powerfully and convincingly, creating an emotional connection with your audience. Because this is what storytelling is all about.
