Dutch courses for students
Are you a student at WUR and interested in learning Dutch for everyday situations in the Netherlands? And would you also like to find out more about typical aspects of Dutch culture? Then our Social Dutch courses are just the thing for you.
Social Dutch courses
Our regular Social Dutch courses consist of 15 classes of 1.5 hours each. You will have two classes a week. Social Dutch 1 requires no prior knowledge of the Dutch language.
We offer Social Dutch at four levels:
Take two courses for free
The Social Dutch 1 & 2 courses are free for Bachelor’s and Master’s students of Wageningen University & Research, provided you attend 80% of the classes (12 of the 15).

Please note that our Social Dutch courses fill up very quickly. We recommend you register for the course you are interested in as soon possible, or sign up for our notification list so you are the first to know when new course dates open for registration.
Intake & registration
Do you want to take Social Dutch 2, 3, or 4 and have you not completed the previous level with us? A free telephone intake interview is required. Please send your telephone number to into@wur.nl so we can schedule a free intake interview.
