In collaboration with Radboud in'to Languages, we offer general English language courses at various levels. You can also follow workshops or training sessions to work on specific professional skills or to prepare for a Cambridge or IELTS exam.
We offer courses on the following levels
If you already have a basic level of English (A2), you can have a simple conversation about everyday matters and understand simple English texts on familiar topics. In this course, you will build your basic English skills so you can communicate fluently in everyday situations and read and write simple texts.
Do you already have a solid foundation and command of English at B1 level, but would you like to be able to have a more complex conversation fluently or write a detailed text? If so, this English course for advanced students is what you're looking for.
Are you already an advanced learner and have mastered English at the B2 level? Can you hold a complex conversation and write a detailed text fluently? Would you like to significantly increase your vocabulary and be able to communicate with more subtlety in academic and professional situations? If so, this English course for very advanced students is what you're looking for.
Are you already an advanced learner? Do you have a command of English at the C1 level and want to develop your language skills even further? In this course, you work will towards C2 level, the highest attainable language level, so you can communicate fluently in all possible scenarios.
These courses are offered in collaboration with our partner organisation Radboud in'to Languages. The courses start twice a year, in February and September. More information and registration is through the website of Radboud in'to Languages.
The intermediate course (B1) consists of 10 lessons. The other courses consist of 8 lessons, with the final two lessons allowing you to decide which skills you wish to focus on through two elective workshops. You can choose from:
- Pronunciation of English
- Speaking English spontaneously with confidence
- Improve your English with AI
- Speaking English in the workplace
- Presenting in English
- Develop your writing skills
You can also register for a separate workshop.
Exam training
Do you want to demonstrate your English level on your CV or gain a certificate for admission to a study programme or job? An IELTS or Cambridge exam is the best way to do so. These qualifications are recognised worldwide by universities, employers, and institutions. This course offers thorough preparation for anyone planning to take a B2, C1, or C2 exam.

The courses are suitable for anyone who needs to speak English at a professional level, such as students and teachers involved in English-language degree programmes.
