Global Guest
Global Guest is a program in which WUR students from around the world give guest lectures to high school students. With this program, high school students gain better insights into the daily life in other cultures and countries. A Global Guest offers the opportunity to deal with global themes with an (experiential) expert from the relevant area, country or continent. A Global Guest is also excellent for use in language teaching (native speakers).
The international students talk about a topic related to their study or about their personal background. This program helps your students to gain deeper insights into international developments, challenges and cultures of the daily life in diverse countries.
Explore a wide range of countries
Offer your students a unique international experience with inspiring guest lectures by students from countries like Nepal, Taiwan, Costa Rica, Colombia, Zimbabwe and Kyrgyzstan. These sessions provide insights into the unique cultures, ecosystems, and societal challenges of these countries, presented by students sharing their personal stories and experiences.
Is your preferred country not listed?
Does your school have a specific preference for another country? Let us know! We will be recruiting new international students for our team. We are more than happy to take your school's specific requests into account during this recruitment, trying to find a perfect match.
“Do you want to know the meaning of the Costa Rican "Pura Vida" and identify tropical rainforest wildlife? I invite you to explore Costa Rica, a small country in Central America.”
