Coming up in October
Register for the Hackathon in October, or join the online info session on 23 October at 12:30 in Plus Ultra II, first!
The Hackathon
During this intensive two-week “pressure cooker,” you will work with residents, researchers, and municipal representatives to accelerate biodiversity action. Drawing on local knowledge, you and your multidisciplinary team will develop creative, evidence-based solutions tailored to a specific neighbourhood.
Focusing on a keystone species (a species that plays a crucial role in supporting the wider ecosystem) you will identify challenges and opportunities and design practical interventions that can be implemented using the municipality’s biodiversity subsidies.
Organisers
- Wageningen University & Research (Learning Ecosystem Wageningen, WUR Student Challenges, Wageningen Biodiversity Initiative)
- Gemeente Wageningen
- De bblthk
- Thuis Wageningen
