The MSc Earth and Environment programme at Wageningen University is proud to participate in EnvEuro (Environmental Science - Soil, Water and Biodiversity), a unique double degree programme that allows you to study at two leading European universities. Starting September 2025, you can combine Wageningen’s strength in understanding physical, chemical and ecological processes in soils, water and the atmosphere with complementary expertise at one of our partner universities.

What you will learn

Your focus

This master’s is a two-year international double degree focused on environmental management and natural processes. You’ll study at Wageningen and a partner university, gaining in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience.

You will learn:

  • Collaborate on European environmental challenges with students across universities.
  • Collect and analyse environmental data using modern techniques.
  • Work on real-world projects or climate strategy design.
  • Specialise in areas like water, soil, climate, or environmental management.
  • Conduct advanced research and write your MSc thesis abroad. 
Important:
This programme does not focus on purely technical engineering, lab-based natural sciences, or local-scale environmental issues without a broader European or global context.
