About Helix
The building takes its name from the structure of DNA, the double helix. The helix shape - two strands twisted around each other - is mirrored in the building’s design in the form of four high atria that revolve around a central core. These atria accommodate meeting and conference rooms, creating an interesting spatial system that invites movement.
Helix contains over 15,000 m2 of floor space, with laboratories, research facilities and offices (approx. 600 workstations). This 9-storey building is located between the Axis and Impulse buildings.
Helix houses the chair groups of the Nutrition Science and Biomolecular Science clusters in the Agrotechnology & Food Science Group (FTC).
Accessibility
You can only access the building with a WURcard. Visitors can register at the reception.
