MRI at The Night of Discoveries in Leiden.

A BNT researcher is showcasing part of her research at the 'Night of Discoveries' art exhibition in Leiden, featuring a diverse collection of MRI images of various flowers, vegetables, and fruits.
Last weekend, PhD candidate Julia Wenink participated in 'The Night of Discoveries' in Leiden. During the event, she presented an art exhibition centered on plants and MRI. A selection of vegetables, fruits, and flowers had been beautifully visualized using ultra-high-field MRI. In addition to guessing what was actually depicted in the images, visitors could learn about MRI imaging technology and its applications in the research conducted by Julia and WUR.
The result was a beautiful exhibition that highlighted nature in a new way.

In a beautiful outdoor setting at the Leiden Hortus Botanicus, visitors could view MRI images of various flowers, vegetables, and fruits and guess what was depicted in the images.
