Sjoukje Heimovaara joins Naturalis supervisory board

Sjoukje Heimovaara, President of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), will join the supervisory board of Naturalis Biodiversity Center from 24 June. This is a secondary position. Her main role remains as President of WUR.
"We are particularly pleased that Sjoukje Heimovaara will strengthen our supervisory board," says Robert-Jan Smits, chair of the Naturalis supervisory board. "Her experience and commitment to societal issues around biodiversity and sustainability align well with Naturalis' mission and ambitions. Her broad perspective and network are of great value for the further development of our institute."
