We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated PhD candidate to join our NWO-funded Coast-Water-Solutions project team (4 years, Sandwich program; 18-month at Wageningen University and rest of the time will be based at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh) based at the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka, and Hydrology and Environmental Hydraulics Group (HWM) at Wageningen University to contribute to the Bangladesh Delta Plan regarding the challenge of salinity intrusion by co-producing knowledge on the social, institutional, and governance aspects of climate-resilient development pathways for salinity management. The work will be carried out focusing the development of a “Living Lab” in the south western coastal zone of Bangladesh.
