WUR Library holiday hours & services

You can request materials from the open shelves in the Forum Library and Library stacks via the Get it! button in WUR Library Search. These requests will be processed on 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 December 2025. Requests submitted before 10:00 will be processed the same day. For large requests (multiple volumes), please contact us in advance via the Library Chat.

The internal courier service will not operate, or only partially, during this period. As a result, deliveries to your office may be delayed. We recommend selecting Forum Library as your pick-up location. You will receive an email notification as soon as your requested material is ready for pickup in the Forum Library.

Because many university libraries are closed, requests for materials from other libraries (Interlibrary Loan) cannot be processed or delivered. It is also not possible to request books from the Leeuwenborch collection and Special Collections from Friday, 19 December, until Sunday, 4 January. From Monday, 5 January 2026, you can again request books from the Leeuwenborch collection and submit Interlibrary Loan requests.
