Diverse Synthetic Methodologies toward Chiral Sulfur(VI) Compounds

PhD defence

Summary
This work presents novel strategies for enantiospecific synthesis of various chiral sulfur(VI) compounds through sulfur(VI) fluoride exchange (SuFEx) chemistry. Efficient synthetic pathways towards chiral sulfonimidamides are accompanied by their potential application as asymmetric catalyst. Additionally, a novel bench-stable analogue of SOF4 gas was designed and synthesized, serving as a practical and versatile precursor for the first chiral sulfuramidimidates and sulfurimidates.
