Andrea Sneekes – Project Leader Environmental Chemistry
As a project leader in environmental chemistry at Wageningen Marine Research, I have over 20 years of experience studying contaminants in the environment. In recent years, I have been closely involved in monitoring biota in Dutch waters for OSPAR and the EU Water Framework Directive, as well as developing test materials for marine proficiency testing.

Colleagues describe me as versatile, dedicated, and results-driven. I value collaboration, critical thinking, and efficiency in both my professional and personal life. Analyzing complex issues and executing tasks effectively are recurring themes throughout my career—and areas where I excel.
