Biography
I am an environmental psychologist researching how people respond to climate change. I study a wide array of topics such as pro-environmental behaviour, adaptation to climate change, mental health and well-being, and the acceptability of climate policies. My expertise lies in theory development, evidence synthesis, and determining research agendas. My current goal is to disseminate environmental psychology knowledge in other disciplines and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. I work in an interdisciplinary setting in the Urban Economics Group at Wageningen University & Research, where I contribute behavioral expertise to understand and address the challenges of urbanism and urban-rural interactions, including climate stress, inequality, and environmental degradation.
