I am a PhD candidate at the Marine Animal Ecology group, working on green turtle movement and dive behaviour in the context of dynamic seagrass habitat and predation risk from sharks.
I completed both my BSc Biology and MSc Biology (Ecology specialisation) at Wageningen University. Throughout my study I found a passion for studying trophic ecosystem dynamics, as well as movement and behavioural ecology of large animals.
I aim to establish mechanistic links between herbivore behaviour and their environment, using an interdisciplinary approach that combines techniques such as acoustic telemetry, UAV-surveys, GPS-tracking and animal-borne camera observations.
