C (Carla) Suñol Escribano, MSc

Carla Suñol Escribano is a researcher in the philosophy department at Wageningen University & Research. Drawing from a background in ecology and philosophy as well as engagement in feminist activism, her interdisciplinary work operates at the intersection of feminist philosophy, new materialism, and epistemic injustice.

More especifically, her current research examines the application of these frameworks within water management policies in Chile. Combining theoretical inquiry with place-based fieldwork, her research examines the material and empirical dimension of knowledge, to expand our understanding of river systems and inform more equitable, grounded policy design.
