Work Experience
Founder of Advit Foundation (in 2004), with over two decades of experience as an environment and gender specialist. Extensive expertise in water management and community-led environmental resource conservation, with a strong focus on gender and natural resource management (NRM). Skilled in environmental governance research, combined with hands-on grassroots experience in village development and capacity-building initiatives. Proficient in project design, planning, monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships, identify donor opportunities, lead the development of program concepts and proposals, manage multiple grants, and oversee project implementation with full compliance.
Area of Research
Focuses on complementary role of men and women in shaping natural resource management. The research explores the study of local practices and influencing intersectional factors that shapes community leadership, inform gender-sensitive policies promoting equitable development, strengthen community participation, and ensure long-term environmental sustainability.
