Biography
My PhD research focusses on the “Social Acceptance of Fermented Foods from Waste Streams”, the social component of the PROSAFE project. For prior degrees, I have researched the phenomenon of “microbiopolitics” (a term coined by Heather Paxson), and what we can learn from how we perform(ed) these politics (across time and space) about other social and economic relationships between people, and between people and nature.
My background is in critical social theory and philosophy. I received my bachelor’s degree from Erasmus University College (EUC), and my master’s degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR).
