I am a PhD candidate at Wageningen University in the Food Quality and Design group. My research focuses on proteins in human breast milk and their potential role in protecting infants against respiratory infections.
I work with breast milk samples and from the PRIMA birth cohort and use proteomics approaches to characterize the milk proteome. Using machine learning models and network analysis, I aim to identify associations between specific proteins or protein patterns and respiratory infection outcomes in infants.
