I am a researcher in the Food Quality & Design group at Wageningen University & Research, with expertise at the interface of food technology, sensory science, and consumer science.

My research focuses on understanding how the design and development of food products influence their sensory properties and the way consumers experience and evaluate them. By integrating food technology with sensory and consumer research, I aim to bridge product development and consumer experience. My research has covered a range of topics, including the development and evaluation of hybrid dairy products and plant-based ingredients, as well as the effects of food packaging on consumer behaviour.

By connecting technological aspects of product development with sensory experiences and consumer perspectives, my research contributes to a better understanding of how food products can be designed to become successful, both from a technological and consumer perspective.
