dr. EM (Evelien) de Olde

Evelien de Olde is assistant professor at the Animal Production System group of Wageningen University & Research. Her research focuses on sustainability assessment of livestock farming systems, governance of food systems, and certification systems in agriculture. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2017 on ‘Sustainable development of agriculture: contribution of farm-level assessment tools’ at the Department of Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark, in collaboration with the Animal Production Systems Group, Wageningen University, the Netherlands (Double Degree PhD). Prior to her postgraduate studies she worked as Research assistant at the Land Use Planning group (Wageningen University). She holds an MSc degree in Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning and an MSc degree in Animal Science, both from Wageningen University.
