Biography
Dr. Fatema Hossain Brishti is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow in the Food Process Engineering (FPE) group at Wageningen University & Research. Originally from Bangladesh, she previously served as a Senior Lecturer in Food Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), where she completed her PhD as an OWSD fellow. Her research centers on plant-based proteins, including protein extraction, functional characterization, protein–polysaccharide interactions, and emulsion gel systems for future food applications. She is particularly interested in developing sustainable plant-protein-based foods through innovative food processing approaches.
