Biography
Biography
I am a researcher at the Aquaculture Biology and Fisheries Ecology (AFI) Group.
I have a strong interest in quantitative fish nutrition, which I developed during my MSc (study on the apparent digestibility of individual feed ingredients in Nile tilapia) and PhD (bioenergetics and muscle growth in Nile tilapia), both conducted under the supervision of Johan Schrama.
I am currently exploring research opportunities on tropical aquaculture systems for the Aquaculture biology and Fisheries ecology group, with an emphasis on the role of pond aquaculture in Sub-saharan African food systems.

- Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures d'Angers (France) (25-3-2026/13-11-2026)
I mentor students enrolled in the Agricultural Engineering programme of the Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures dAngers in the completion of their end-of-study 6-months project (2nd year of MSc degree, only students specialised in Animal Sciences). This means guiding them in establishing their research questions, defining a methodology to adress these and interpretating the results of their research.
