dr. HMG (Helen) Verploegen

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the CURIOSOIL project, a four-year EU-funded project aimed at strengthening soil education across Europe through hands-on learning and increased soil literacy.

With an interdisciplinary background, I study human-nature relationships and am specifically interested in how activities such as citizen science or education can contribute to strengthening people's relationship with nature, both cognitively and affectively.
