I am a theoretical ecologist and modeller focussing on the dynamics of populations and ecosystems. In my models I link individual development, physiology and behaviour to the dynamics of populations. In this way I explore how populations and ecosystem might respond to climate change and human impact. 

In the last couple of yours as researcher I obtained experience in a range of modelling techniques. I mainly apply these models to marine species in various regions (like North sea fatfish species or Baltic herring) but sometimes I also work on other species like elephants and birds.
