dr. K (Kelly) Elschot

After succesfully finishing my masters on Ecology & Evolution and a PhD on grazing management and salt marshes at the University of Groningen in 2015, I started work at Wageningen University & Research as a salt marsh ecologist in 2016. Since 2023 I started working at Wageningen Environmental Research (dept. Vegetation and Landscape Ecology) and next to salt marshes I also work on ecosystem recovery in all types of Dutch habitats. I am able to apply my passion for research and restoration ecology on a variety of projects ranging from monitoring, advice and scientific research.
