Biography
Associate Professor Monique Paris (Wolvekamp) is Co-founder and Director of IBREAM (www.ibream.org). She is a wildlife biologist who has specialized in many research fields (reproduction, immunology, nutrition, ethology) and has a specific interest in animal welfare. Under her wing she holds 4 IBREAM programs focusing on endangered African mammals, including the African wild dog, Ethiopian wolf, African rhinocersos species, as well the pygmy hippopotamus.
Her association as Associate Professor with several Australian universities, and an Honorary Professorship status at the University of Pretoria, has given a solid base to IBREAM Ph.D. students for many years.
