dr. MV (Mark) Boekschoten

Dr. Mark Boekschoten received his MSc degree in Medical Biology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Subsequently he obtained a PhD in Human Nutrition at Wageningen University under supervision of Dr. Martijn Katan. In 2004 he started postdoctoral training and visited the laboratory of Dr. David Moore at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston TX. In 2006 he joined the group of Dr. Michael Müller and was appointed as coordinator of the microarray facility. In 2012 he was appointed as project leader of the Nutrigenomics Platform within TI Food & Nutrition. Since 2015 he is responsible for the laboratories of the division of Human Nutrition. He is also responsible for the Health Research Unit of the division, which enables studies into health and nutrition with volunteers.
