Biography
Dr. N. (Nina) Vermeulen-Hubner started on September 1, 2024, at Wageningen Environmental Research as Institute Manager for Research & Operations. Nina studied molecular biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. She then conducted her PhD research in biochemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried, Germany, resulting in her dissertation titled "Mapping the Human Interactome by BAC TransgeneOmics and Quantitative Mass Spectrometry". After obtaining her PhD, Nina worked as a postdoc at UMC Utrecht, followed by a short period as a senior scientist at the pharmaceutical company LeadPharma in Nijmegen. She then went on to establish the quantitative mass spectrometry group within the Institute for Molecular Biology at Radboud University. In 2016, she joined the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour as Managing Director. In addition to this role, she was also Managing Director of the interdisciplinary research platform of the science faculty at Radboud University.
