Agricultural production is a key example of harvesting the resources that the earth has to offer. How to do this within planetary and social boundaries, thus letting everyone benefit (including future generations), is one of my core interests. To address this problem, I like to use interdisciplinary and quantitative approaches.

Some examples of how this materializes in my work:
- Optimization modelling to minimize land use by increasing circularity in the bioeconomy
