dr. X (Xiaomei) Yang

I am working as researcher/lecturer in the Soil Physics and Land Management Group. My main aim is to understand agricultural practices' impacts on soil processes, in particular those of pesticides use and plastic film deriven microplastics, as well as their co-ocurrence effects and transport along soil profile. I am an enthusiastic teacher involved in International Land and Water Management Program (BSc and MSc). Much of my professional time is working on the projects related to the topics of pesticide and microplastics associated with soil health. I have published more than 100 manuscripts per-reviewed journals (International and National-Chinese) as author or co-author. Since 2023, I have been listed as “Highly Cited Scientist” by Clarivate / Web of Science, and in 2024 the Top2%Scientists by Elsevier and Stanford University.
