dr.ing. RJC (Rachel) van Ooteghem, MSc

In 2007 she received her Ph.D. degree from Wageningen University for her thesis entitled: ‘Optimal control design for a solar greenhouse’ at the Systems and Control group.

In 1998 she received her MSc degree in Control Systems Engineering (with honours).

She is (co-)author of the book 'Optimal Control of Greenhouse Cultivation' (2010).

Lecturer at the Agricultural Biosystems Engineering chair group.

She is responsible for the following subjects: Modelling of Biobased Production Systems, Greenhouse Technology, Control Engineering, Control Methods for Biosystems Engineering, Building Physics and Climate Engineering, CAD and Mechanics. She also supervises BSc and MSc thesis students.

Furthermore she is responsible for the education coordination of the chair group, member of the education quality committee, of the DB of the education committee, and of the education committee.
