Biography
Els mainly focusses on the analysis, production and effects of cyanobacterial toxins. She furthermore works on other ‘unusual suspects’ such as dog poisonings caused by anatoxin-a, which had so far not been reported in The Netherlands, and the highly toxic, but poorly monitored microcystin variants MC-LW and MC-LF.
