Biography
I work across two roles, that are united by a common goal: fostering better health for people and animals.
- Knowledge Transfer Manager - Human and Animal Health – Helping to bring innovations in human and animal health to practice. Contact me if you want to know how to bring your innovation to its end-users, or if you have a finding that you think might be patentable.
- One Health Portfolio Development – At Wageningen Bioveterinary Research I continue to work to expand our knowledge and work on One Health - towards a healthier environment, healthier animals and healthier people. Here, I build on the ERRAZE@WUR programme, and on the expertise of the WBVR staff.
I studied Bioprocess Engineering at Wageningen University, and completed my Virology PhD at the Erasmus Medical Centre, and the National Institute for Public Health, the RIVM. After that, I worked both in industry (Crucell/ Johnson & Johnson), and academia (Utrecht University & UMCU, Otago University New Zealand, University of Melbourne Australia).
