Biography

Marjanke Hoogstra-Klein is Assistant Professor at the Forest and Nature Conservation Policy Group of Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Trained as a forest social scientist, her research interests include the area of forest management and economics. Current research focuses, a.o., on strategic management, innovative business models, decision-making and decision-making styles, organisational behavior, risk and uncertainty, foresight approaches, and certification and labeling. She develops and teaches courses in business management and administration, decision-making and economics. She supervises BSc-students, MSc-students, and PhD-students in her field of expertise. She is also Associate Editor for the Journal of Forest Policy and Economics.
