My focus is on facilitating stakeholder interaction for the co-design of sustainable production systems. As a biologist, holding a MSc in Biology from the University of Amsterdam, I like to understand how  the biology in the system (plants, animals, soil life etc) can be used to perform functions required to reach the systems objectives. I have experience in facilitating co-design processes for sustainable livestock research at Wageningen UR Livestock Research. 

Successional Agroforestry systems, which follow natural succession, are of specific interest to me. Currently I am working on a Functional Design Framework that allows to select plants for a specific context, depending on their traits.
