Biography

Biography

I am a dedicated sustainability professional with extensive experience in the Food, Beverage, and Agriculture (FBA) sector. Currently working on projects within the EU Data4Food2030 initiative which explores combining primary and secondary data sources to improve sustainability insights. My work focuses on advancing data-driven approaches for sustainable food systems and life cycle assessment (LCA).

Between 2013 and 2025 I was Manager, Science & Impact for the FBA sector at Sustainability Consortium (TSC). As part of the Science and Impact team, I was working on leading research, management of various sustainability projects, and program activities in the FBA sector.

Prior TSC, I worked as a researcher at WUR, where I contributed to various sustainability projects, focusing on improving agricultural practices and environmental impact assessments.

I have a special fondness for fig trees—their resilience and ability to thrive in challenging conditions make them symbols of strength and endurance. Fig trees are iconic in Mediterranean landscapes, representing the region’s rich agricultural heritage and the simplicity of rural life.
