HL (Helton Luiz) Goncalves Damas, MSc

PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of São Carlos (2018); Master in Science, Technology and Society from the Federal University of São Carlos (2013); and Bachelor's Degree in Tourism from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Rosana Campus (2007). I was a substitute professor in the Tourism programs at the Federal Institute of São Paulo, Cubatão Campus (2019/2020) and at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2011-2012). My research focuses on the following areas: colonial-based tourism, community-based tourism, and tourism entrepreneurship.
