Born and raised on a mixed farm formed my passion in agriculture and nature. My study and an internship in Scotland triggered my interest in the integrated approach, specifically related to insect and mollusc pests and their control. My ambition is searching for cultural, chemical and biological solutions with respect of the Integrated Pest Management tools, in an applied and cooperative way.

Since 1998 I have been working on slugs, snails, wireworms, grubs, earthworms, leatherjackets, western corn rootworm, tomato borer, store insects, carrot-, bean and asparagus flies, aphids, asparagus beetles and other insect pests. Topics have been a.o. mechanical control of insects, control with insect and slug parasitic nematodes, insects and fungi, seed-coating and controlled atmosphere treatments.
