ing. M (Marco) Hofman

Marco Hofman studied Biotechnology at Hogeschool Inholland, (Delft, NL). He got his Bsc. in 2006, completing a thesis at TNO Quality of Life (Leiden, NL) with the title "Research on plant extracts for possible anti-obesity effects". He has a strong background in plant microbiology. Before working at WUR he specialized in pathogenic plant fungi and nematodes. Since 2021 he works at Wageningen University and Research at the Business Unit Greenhouse Horticulture as a technical researcher in the domain of plant nutrients, water and root media.
