Biography
Biography
Climate change en biodiversity are some of the biggest societal challenges of our era.
In my work at Wageningen Environmental Research I am dedicated to explore and shape a climate adaptive and nature inclusive perspective for the Netherlands.
Doing this, I am working on both long term scenario building as well as everyday practices. Also, I am operating on the intersection between social sciences and environmental science and often in participation with citizens, farmers and other stakeholders.
As Winston Churchill once said: 'we shape our environment, thereafter it shapes us'.
By working jointly on a nature inclusive future perspective we also strenghten our own quality of life.
