I focus on how to deliberately transform food systems so they are healthy for people and planet and just. Driving me is the question: how can we ensure that all those who work in food systems can benefit structurally and fairly from the creation of one of humanities' basic needs: tasty, healthy, ample food? To do that I focus on strengthening the leadership needed for transformational change, and understanding how food systems can be tipped in different contexts. I actively seek collaboration with others from any background to share approaches, findings, experiences; working together more effectively is the only way forward. Transformational change for me implies working with the policies, power structures, investments and social-economic incentives that drive food sytems.
