J (Jessie) Beirnaert

Through my studies in ‘Climate Studies’ and the traineeship ‘Integrated Landscape Approach’ at WR, I have developed interests and expertise in the fields of nature, climate, and agriculture, and the interplay between these three themes. I have conducted research on emissions in dairy farming, regenerative agriculture, manure policy, Nature Based Solutions, and biodiversity. Additionally, I have honed my skills in both social science and quantitative research. Integral working is at the top of my list; sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and coming to solutions together is something that gives me a lot of energy.
