As Strategic Partnerships & Innovation Lead for the Food market at Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (WFBR), I focus on building and strengthening strategic partnerships between WFBR and the food industry. I work at the interface of science, innovation and business, connecting market and societal challenges with WFBR’s scientific expertise to create impactful collaborations.

In this role, I also bring in long-term strategic questions and emerging needs from industry into WFBR, helping to shape future research directions and capability development. I support our experts in translating these insights into the right scientific focus and development of relevant expertise across the organisation.

In addition, I am responsible for marketing and communication for the Food market, ensuring that WFBR’s expertise, innovations and impact are clearly positioned and effectively communicated to industry and stakeholders.

My role focuses on identifying strategic opportunities, developing partnerships and shaping collaborative innovation initiatives that translate scientific knowledge into practical solutions and impact. I connect companies and other partners with the right expertise, technologies and capabilities across WFBR and the wider Wageningen ecosystem.
