Biography

Senior Advisor on multi-stakeholder engagement in the domain of agrifood systems and natural resources. Advises, coaches and conducts research with professionals across sectoral boundaries on how to tackle tough problems with a special focus on food systems in Africa and Asia. Interested in how to accelerate transitions that shift food systems to become more sustainable, healthy and equitable. This often involves a focus on improving collaboration, stimulating collective action, navigating conflict and polarization, and strengthening systems leadership. I am lead author of the acclaimed MSP Guide: How to design and facilitate multi-stakeholder partnerships, which has been referred to as an “invaluable management tool for identifying the core principles, tools and considerations needed to optimise your organisation’s approach to engagement”. A connector with broad curiosity, skilled in facilitation, coaching, public speaking and analysis.  

At WUR, I lead our participation in the African Food Fellowship and Foresight4Food Initiative. I also serve on the core team of the Wageningen Transformation Initiative, and am accredited Partnership Broker.
