JJJ (Joey) Volwater

As a fish ecologist interested in the productivity and contribution of land-water transitions on fish populations in freshwater lakes, especially the IJsselmeer and Markermeer. Special focus is on the nature rehabilitation project Marker Wadden as spawning and juvenile habitat for fish. Using long-term fish monitoring, we are investigating the effects of climate and habitat changes, among other things, on the fish community in these lakes.
