Biography

Biography

Liam is a consumer researcher at Wageningen Social & Economic Research, where he studies how consumers respond to new food technologies, more sustainable food choices, and alternative proteins. He is also a part-time PhD candidate at the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour group of Wageningen University & Research. His doctoral research focuses on the role of ambivalence in the acceptance of cellular agriculture products, such as cultured meat and precision fermentation dairy. He combines psychology and marketing insights with experimental methods, including online supermarkets, virtual reality experiences, and large-scale surveys that simulate realistic choice contexts. Liam is involved in the Dutch Agrifood Monitor, the Protein Monitor, and several European projects.
