LB (Lukas) Nainggolan, MSc

Lukas Bonar Nainggolan completed his Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Economics at Universitas Indonesia, followed by a Master's degree (MSc) in Agricultural Economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. at Wageningen University and Research within the Business Economics group as part of the C4B project.

Lukas has a keen interest in behavioral and experimental economics, with a particular focus on contracts and ownership structures in the agricultural sector. His Ph.D. research aims to design contract and ownership structures that are preferred by primary producers while promoting efficiency and value creation across the value chain. He combines experimental methods with farmers and foresters to elicit their preferences and develops economic models to identify optimal contract and ownership structures.
