M (Marije) Oostindjer, PhD MSc

15+ years experience in sustainable agri-food chains. Educated as a biologist, with a PhD in Animal Welfare and Health (early feeding behaviour in pigs) from WUR. I worked as a postdoc and researcher for 6.5 years at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences on projects related to nutrition, meat, sustainability, food waste, gut microbiome, consumer behaviour. I then took an MBA from IE Business School and moved to industry, working as a business developer in a company working with side streams from the Norwegian meat and egg industry, bridging research and commercial interests. I started as a business developer at WLR in April 2024.
