I am a PhD candidate in the Laboratory of Microbiology at Wageningen University & Research. During my work within the AIMARIA project, I investigate the marine sponge microbiome. My focus is on the selection of biosynthetic gene clusters and prediction of culture conditions for their microbial producer to facilitate and accelerate the discovery of new bioactive compounds.
